StoneLocator.com has developed an on-line search engine and quotation system to simplify the quest for marble, limestone, travertine, granite, ceramic tile, slate and other exotic tile products for wholesale and retail stone needs. Employing a Web site that compiles natural stone products from many global supply sources, customers are able to instantly search through more than 1,500 items on the market and more than $300 million in ready-to-ship inventory in the U.S., according to the company.

The Web site facilitates the relationship between primary stage manufacturers and distributors worldwide. “Our suppliers specialize in their respective product areas,” stated Haydn Cutler, president and CEO. “StoneLocator.com builds on that expertise, working closely with them to control quality and provide the most competitive prices.” In addition to less-than-truckload shipments, container load pricing is available from direct sources located throughout the world.

Products are shipped to reseller locations or directly to job sites, and the sampling and digital imaging process is designed to be streamlined. In addition, product specialists are available toll-free to answer questions and to explore alternate product or freight solutions for projects. StoneLocator.com specializes in 1,000-square-foot orders, cut-to-size projects and other special orders. Typical delivery time from StoneLocator.com ranges from three to seven business days, point to point, from any of its distribution centers in North America. StoneLocator.com enables on-line users to access its database via the Internet, and the inventory is modified daily. Registered users can view images, automatically calculate prices delivered to their door and place orders for shipments.
