StonePro, the exclusive distributor of Diaforce products, has announced a company name change. “We wanted something that would convey our unique offerings and not create confusion for our customers in the marketplace,” explained company Vice President Mark Smith. “Our company will no longer be known as StonePro. We have found this name to be too prevalent and confusing in the stone market and not unique enough for the tooling that we offer. While we are the same company offering high-quality service and high-end field-tested products, we will now be known as Helix Professional Tools.” The name change went into effect on June 1, and the company can be reached by phone at 877-342-3672 or on the Internet at www.diaforce.com.

Lee Morgan has been named president of Farr Air Pollution Control (APC) of Jonesboro, AK, a leading manufacturer of dust collection equipment for IAQ control and product recovery. In the newly created post, Morgan will oversee all activities of the Farr APC operating unit, which has been consolidated and expanded to include all of North America. Morgan joined Farr in 1997 and has held a variety of management posts in the company's air pollution control business unit. His 15 years of experience in the dust collection industry spans virtually every aspect of applications, equipment design and development, marketing, sales and customer service. He is chairman of ASHRAE Technical Committee 5.4 (Industrial Process Air Cleaning), which is working on developing a standard for stating dust collector performance.
