Seiders formed AG&M in 1992 and serves as its president. He previously was executive vice president of sales and marketing for Cold Spring Granite Co. from 1988 to 1991. Prior to joining Cold Spring, Seiders was president and owner of Capitol Marble and Granite, founded in 1978 and sold to Cold Spring Granite in 1988.
At the same time as the Seiders election, Jim Hogan of Cararra Marble Company of America, Inc. of Los Angeles, CA, was chosen as vice president of MIA, Guido C. Gliori of Grazzini Brothers & Co. of Eagan, MN, was elected secretary and Brett Rugo of Rugo Stone of Lorton, VA, was elected treasurer. The elections took place at StonExpo in Las Vegas, NV.
MIA members also elected three new members of the association’s Board of Directors. Giovanni D’Angiolo of Italy was chosen to represent Europe, Gautam Chand Jain of Pokarna Ltd. in Secunderabad, India, was elected to represent Africa, Asia, Australia and the Philippines, and Gasper (GK) Naquin of Stone Interiors of Loxley, AL, was elected to represent the Southeastern U.S.
