VMC Technical Assistance Corp. has introduced Anti-Drop Stone Impregnator, for walls, floor statues and water fountains. The basis for Anti-Drop is an aliphatic hologenated copolymer that "cross links" to form a microscopic protective film, which acts as a one-way barrier.
The material may be applied with a cloth, brush, paint applicator, roller, sponge mop, terry cloth or atomizer. The molecular structure of the film allows the stone to breathe, yet prevents the admission of foreign substances, according to the company.
