The new stonecutter TC 04 Numeric from Thibaut is part of the generation of “intelligent” machines. Engineered for ease of use, the TC 04 Numeric makes rectilinear or curved cuts automatically without the assistance of an operator. A turning table was replaced by an automatic 360-degree rotating head, which allows for sawing in all directions.

In addition, this system gives the possibility to interpolate two axes, following cuts from each other in any direction. Axes are equipped with an encoder for an immediate location of the position (visualization of X, Y, Z and A positions). With a tilting head from 0 to 50 degrees with compensation of load, TC 04 Numeric can execute all necessary cutting operations. The unit features ergonomic remote controls, an LCD screen that displays the dimensions within 1⁄10 mm. A spindle motor of 8.8 kW allows the machine to fit discs ranging from 400 to 520 mm in diameter. The cast solid frame unit and galvanized table can be equipped with a tilting loading plate for an easy and fast handling.

Equipped with an industrial PC, TC 04 Numeric is offered in two versions. With the first two-axis version, it is possible to program the cuts by rectilinear laser teaching. The second version has three axes and allows the user to follow any shapes, even curved forms and to import .dxf files (AutoCAD) with CFAO software. This version can interpolate the three axes for curved cuts. It can also be used in a manual mode.
