TULSA, OK -- To meet its increase in production, All Stone & Granite, LLC recently purchased a Matrix GSC-2001 bridge saw. The company, which was started by Boyd McGuire and his partner David Potter in Tulsa, OK, was launched in 1995.

"As we grew, our market area expanded rapidly," McGuire said. "We are now servicing an area from Bartlesville, 50 miles north of us, east to Grand Lake on the Missouri border, to Enid and Guthrie in the northwest, and south almost beyond Interstate 40. During this time our staff also doubled in size."

As a result of this growth, the company's equipment had to constantly be upgraded to keep up with the rigorous schedule that was now in place, according to McGuire. "We were concerned that any kind of machinery problems -- especially with our old gantry saw -- could put us out of business," he said. "A good friend in the industry had just purchased a GSC-2001 from Matrix and was very happy with the decision. I made it my business to attend the next StonExpo show and spoke to just about every manufacturer there to see if there was anything better."

McGuire ended up purchasing the GSC-2001 that Matrix had on display at StonExpo. 'The GSC-2001 is a dream to operate, we are already considering a second one," he said.
