MoreThe Big 5 exhibition, including the “Marble & Stone” event, will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from November 23 to 26, 2009. The event combines seven major exhibitions in the building trades, and it will feature 2,833 exhibiting companies from 53 countries, including 26 national pavilions.
The event draws contractors, specifiers, architects, engineers and buyers throughout the region, and more than 58,000 visitors are expected. Show hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. all four days.
Among the seven exhibitions taking place at The Big 5 is the “Marble & Stone” event. “The marble and stone sector is growing massively,” stated show organizers. “Many of the projects underway are large scale and require the high-quality finish and luxury that can only be obtained from natural stone.” Stone exhibitors will be coming from European nations such as Italy, Spain, Germany and Turkey as well as India, Brazil, Israel, China and other regions of the world. Additionally, American granite producers Rock of Ages of Vermont and Dakota Granite of South Dakota will be present in Dubai.
