The Cross Design Contest jury met to decide the 2017 finalists who best utilized Caesar’s Rise, Reverb and Peaceful trends to design of an urban loft. At the end of the contest, 102 projects were submitted from 18 states.

“Le stanze della materia” of the Gruppo MED Architetti Associati received the Web Award as the best project among the five most voted for projects online.

The committee took into account the consistency of projects with the three trends, their conformity, feasibility and creativity, as well as of their capacity to highlight the value of ceramic material in its complexity to select 20 finalists. The winning project will be developed inside the Caesar Gallery, the new showroom in Fiorano opening on Sept. 26, where the winner will be announced.

“We have launched this creative contest to involve more and more designers and architects in our world,” said Adolfo Tancredi, CEO of Ceramiche Caesar. “Today, creativity in architecture can come from the most diverse elements, even by the simple use of different materials. We believe that Caesar ceramic material can be part of this innovation: what we are looking for is, above all, new ideas.”
