CLEVELAND, OH -- The Rockhead Group, a group buying organization and best practices group, continues to increase its membership as it enters into 2017 and its third year of active practice. The group was actually formed in 2013 but began its programming in 2014.

In January 2017 the group welcomed its first new member of the year, Signature Granite out of Neosho, MO. Owner of Signature Granite, Krista Lake, was quickly joined by Jonathon Vanasse of Granit Design based in Montreal, Canada, but with a location in Derby, VT. Later in the month of February the group welcomed its first Iowa member, Big Creek Granite which is located in the town of Norway and run by Cory Havill.

Rockhead Group CEO, Dawn Kennedy explains her reasoning for the growth spurt.

“The Surfaces Show and C100 always results in membership for us because fabricators are able to see and listen to what we offer first hand,” she said. “The person to person connections made at Surfaces and C100 have served us very well. Although these two events make a strong showing for the first quarter of the year, we continue to onboard new members each and every month throughout the year. This year we project a significant increase in membership due to our affiliation and partnership with A.J. Gallagher in offering our members affordable health insurance coverage and other HR benefits for their employees.”

This year the Rockhead Group is offering four conferences to its members including a summit held concurrent with Coverings, their annual summer benchmarking retreat and the fall executives retreat. “As we grow in numbers and subsequent revenue, we are able to reinvest those resources in programming, technology and services for our members,” said Kennedy.
