HOUSTON, TX -- From February 22nd to 24th, Moraware held its first live training for fabricators using JobTracker scheduling software.

“We frequently get calls from users who say, ‘I want to get more out of Moraware.’ They love our software but suspect they aren’t using it to its fullest,” explained Kathleen Teodoro from the Moraware support team. “We decided to see if people would be interested in live training.”

The event sold out within a couple of weeks, attracting fabricators from across the U.S., as well as Canada, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

“We intentionally kept it small, with registration capped at 40 people to allow plenty of time for participants to receive individual attention from our support team,” said Harry Hollander, Moraware president and co-founder.

The intimate scope also allowed the fabricators opportunity to talk to each other and share experience about business concerns and software solutions.

Moraware’s software partners were also in attendance. Representatives from DataBridge, Duda Consulting, Fabricators Choice and Job Well Done were available on site to demonstrate how they can help extend the capabilities of JobTracker to address a wider variety of complex business problems.

Attendees were each issued a Chromebook computer and access to a training version of the JobTracker system, as well as copies of their own JobTracker systems. These resources allowed participants to experiment before making changes to the live software that they use to run their businesses.

The event was a great success. “It was very helpful and we are already integrated new things into our job tracker,” said James Domer with Top Advantage Surfaces in Hartville, OH.

Gerry Dyck with Western Marble & Tile in Winnipeg concurred saying, “100% success for me. Great people, great agenda and great venue.”

Laura Ackerman with Granite Concepts in Lewiston, ID, also agreed. “I left the conference full of great information and wonderful ideas,” she said. “Definitely time well spent.”
