Once again, the international Italian tile exhibition provided an arena for members of the tile industry to present and view the latest product introductions
Paper 41 is the new HD digital porcelain tile collection by Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer 41zero42. It incorporates a variety of contemporary frescos to create five different “stories” or designs — Elsa (inspired by a famous Italian writer), Karl, Jane (pictured above), Dario and Lola. Applicable for both walls and floors, each “story” is available in two standard sizes — 20 x 20 and 20 x 40 inches — along with a variety of different sizes exclusive to each. Tile of Spain-branded manufacturer Equipe Ceramicas released Country, its white body porcelain wall tile collection. The collection is available in 13 colors — Blanco, Blanco Mate, Gris Claro, Grey Pearl, Graphite, Anthracite, Anthracite Mate, Ivory, Beige, Visón, Tobacco, Mist Green and Ash Blue — three decors and four sizes. Special pieces/sizes are also available. The collection is applicable indoors only.
The Action ceramic tile collection by Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer Fondovalle has the look and feel of real cement with a contemporary, decorative touch. Available in two colors — Dark and Light — and two sizes — 120 x 240 and 120 x 120 cm, the collection is applicable on both walls and floors indoors. www.fondovalle.it/en
Tile of Spain-branded manufacturer Grespania introduced Amazonia, a new porcelain tile collection with the look of natural wood enhanced by a marked relief that copies the cuts produced by a dented saw. Incorporating modern designs, the collection can be utilized both indoors and outdoors. The tiles come in one standard size: 15 x 80 cm, and six colors: Fresno, Roble, Castano, Azahar, Encina and Ebano.
Moments is a new porcelain floor tile collection by the Tile of Spain-branded manufacturer Halcón Cerámicas. The tiles, available in a 45- x 45-inch format, come in two colors: Mix (taupe) and Gris (gray), which incorporate hydraulic cement patterns and designs. The tiles in the collection are also available in 20- x 50- and 4.7- x 50-inch formats as a red body wall tile.
A glamorous policewoman is chasing a mysterious criminal around the walls of Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer Imola Ceramica’s new porcelain stoneware collection, Pop. Pop steps outside of the conventional design pattern to bring comic art into a new dimension — the dimension of a tile collection inspired by the Pop Art of Roy Lichtenstein. The collection incorporates 10 different illustrated tiles, which alternate with a color range of 10 bright colors to recount this exciting adventure of facial close-ups, cult symbols and explosive exclamations.
Sunrise by Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer Lea Ceramiche is the new floor tile collection that mimics the look of real wood. The veins of wood are made more vibrant by the light and shadow created by the typical texture of porcelain stoneware to give you all the substantial appeal of wood without the upkeep. Available in only one unique size — 20 x 90 cm — and in five tones — African Amber, Australian Heat, American Walnut, Asian Grey and European Dark — Sunrise is characterized by a variety of different patterns.
Imperfetto by Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer Marazzi is the company’s new porcelain tile collection. Available in six colors — White, Pearl, Royal Blue, Pottery, Clay and Bone — and one standard size, Imperfetto is ideal as a wall covering for residential bathrooms, kitchens, as well as bathrooms of restaurants, offices, hotels and wellness centers/spas. Tiles are also available in five different decorative elements, with a variety of different color options, as well as two different special trims.
Tile of Spain-branded manufacturer, Natucer, recently introduced two new porcelain stoneware series, Modeli and Panal, that work together to create unique and customized areas. Panal is a hexagon tile that comes in 14 different colors: six metallic colors and eight matte finishes. Modeli is a decorative hexagonal tile in six different colors. Tiles in both series come in one standard size: 15 x 17 cm.
Metz is the new porcelain stoneware series by Tile of Spain-branded manufacturer Pamesa Ceramica. Inspired by the purity of a stone called Bluestone, the collection is produced in a square format — 60 x 60 cm — and a rectangular format — 30.3 x 61.3 x 60 cm — and is available in five colors; it is applicable on floors. Its counterpart, Metz Relieve, also mimics the look of natural stone and was created for wall applications; these tiles, available in a 30.3- x 61.3-cm format, are offered in four colors.
Rewind is the new porcelain stoneware collection by Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer Ragno. The tiles in the Rewind collection provide a contemporary reinterpretation of timeless materials. The collection is available in six sophisticated colors and a wide assortment of sizes. The inclusion in the range of a hexagonal tile size, for use as a decorative piece or an extension of the floor covering products, allows the creation of design schemes with a unique personality. Rewind is suitable for use as a wall or floor covering in residential and commercial projects.
Visia is the new white body porcelain tile collection by the Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer Ava Ceramica. The collection is available in four graphics — Neutral, Mood, Bourette and Caleidos — and five colors — Charta, Lime, Mentha, Sahara and Ebano. It is ideal for both indoor residential and commercial applications. Visia tiles are available in one size — 25 x 75 cm — with a thickness of 10 mm; smaller mosaics and decorative pieces are also available. www.avaceramica.it/en
Tile of Spain-branded manufacturer Casalgrande Padana introduced the new Marmoker series from the Granitoker glazed porcelain line. Made with cutting-edge digital technology applied to stoneware, the Marmoker range features the shades, veining, transparency, texture, shine and colors of real marble. The series is available in 20 stone effects and a white ceramic effect, two finishes (natural or lapped) and two sizes (60 x 60 and 60 x 120 cm). The eco-compatible tiles can be used for indoor or outdoor applications on floors and walls.
Chicago is the new glazed porcelain stoneware collection by Ceramica Cir. Chicago recreates the timeless beauty of vintage, revealing its hidden contemporary urban side. Seemingly worn by the passage of time, this series comes in warm, rich tones for both indoors and outdoors, for an original perspective, fused with personality. Available in four colors — Old Chicago, Wrigley, State Street and South Side — and three standard sizes, the collection is applicable on floors and walls in both residential and commercial settings.

Available in three colors — Cal, Crème and Mix — and five standard sizes, this collection is applicable on floors in outdoor and indoor settings. Every tile features intricate veining that replicates that of natural stones, so every design is unique and the design possibilities are endless.
The Vantage series by Tile of Spain-branded manufacturer Ceramica Saloni is a white body ceramic and rectified tile line that was launched earlier this year. Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer Ceramica Sant’Agostino introduced a new floor and wall porcelain tile collection, Flexi Technic, designed by Philippe Starck. With intrinsic characteristics that make it possible to extend, both in style and function, the collection comes in four colors: White, Greige, Grey and Black, and one size: 60 x 60 cm with a 10 mm thickness.
Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer Ceramiche Supergres’ Lake Stone porcelain stoneware collection is a floor series inspired by the natural stones of the British Lake District. Available in six colors — Lake Pearl, Lake Grey, Lake Black, Lake Tan, Lake Sand and Lake Ivory — and five standard sizes, the collection is applicable on indoor floors and walls, with the opportunity to create a continuous graphic and color effect. The series is also available in the T20 version for outdoor applications, which is available in three colors, including Lake Grey, Lake Black and Lake Sand.
Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer Del Conca introduced its exclusive ceramic wall tile collection, Lupin the 3rd, inspired by the gentleman thief who is the main character of a Japanese manga series. The tiles in the collection feature three different designs ideal for contemporary interiors — available in a glossy, colored 20- x 50-cm format or a red and black 20- x 20-cm version with a satin finish. The collection also features two vertical life-size panels of Lupin and Fujiko, two of the characters in the cartoon.
Inspired by modern urban settings, District is the new porcelain tile collection from the Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer Refin Ceramiche. This complex collection was influenced by a range of different materials, and is applicable on both floors and walls. It incorporates three different styles — Road, with finishes reminiscent of asphalt; Garage, with metallic-style vintage materials typical of old style shops; and Track, with distressed woods inspired by velodrome surfaces and the small brickwork found on indoor walls — and is available in 12 different colors.
Ceramics of Italy-branded manufacturer Tagina Ceramiche d’arte released its new porcelain tile collection, Déco d’Antan. Not simply a new collection of glazed porcelain floor and walls tiles, but a real and true ceramic system dedicated to furnish with renewed elegance the residential living spaces and ideal for Italian design contract projects with a strong personality. The five black and white mixed colors, engraved floral decors and geometrical patterns are the three distinctive elements of this Déco d’Antan collection floor tiles that, combined together, can offer a great visual lightness and compositional freedom.
The Reality series by Tile of Spain-branded manufacturer, Unicer, incorporates wall, floor and decorative tiles for any room in your home. The series is available in nine colors: Ilgú Blanco Mate, Relieve Reality Blanco, Reality Rosa, Relieve Reality Rosa, Reality Fresa, Relieve Reality Fresa, Reality More, Relieve Reality More, and six decors that incorporate extra-large motifs such as flowers, leaves and abstracts.
Cersaie, the annual international ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings exhibition, took place at the Bologna Exhibition Center in Bologna, Italy, from September 22 to 26, 2014. Tile manufacturers, distributors, architects, designers and industry professionals from various countries around the world gathered together to share ideas and network, while also introducing new collections and products.
