DULLES, VA -- MS International, Inc. (MSI) hosted the Stone Summit at its showroom and distribution center in Dulles, VA, on Thursday, June 19 -- an event part of theStone World/MIA education series. The daylong seminar, which offered guidance and advice on how to handle some of the current issues in today's industry, was attended by more than 30 fabricators.

In addition to a main presentation, the event featured networking opportunities, product demonstrations, a warehouse tour and a Fabricator Forum, which allowed attendees to personally interact with three industry veterans on a variety of topics.

The panel included: Joey Ganassa of Washington Marble & Granite Co. in Annapolis, MD, Sam Arcot of Rugo Stone LLC in Lorton, VA, and Scott Taylor of Charles Luck Stone Center in Richmond, VA. Tony Malisani of Malisani, Inc. in Great Falls, MT, and current president of the MIA, moderated the discussion, as well as giving an in-depth presentation about "How to Set a Cost and Sell a Project's Value" in the morning session.
