NEW YORK, NY -- Cosentino North America and Hearst Design Group hosted a private event for architects and interior designers at the 2014 Kips Bay Decorator Show House in New York City to celebrate this year's show house. The event spotlighted a kitchen designed by Matthew Quinn, of Design Galleria Kitchen & Bath Studio, which featured countertops made of Cosentino's natural quartz brand Silestone, in the helix color, with a smooth suede finish.

The countertops were combined with other sophisticated décor to illustrate Quinn's inspiration from the neighboring historical landmark, St. Patrick's Cathedral. In its 42nd year, the show house featured a prominent group of more than 20 designers at the historic New York Palace Hotel, with all proceeds benefitting the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club.

Over the course of four decades, the Kips Bay Decorator Show house has grown into a must-see event for thousands of design enthusiasts, and is renowned for sparking interior design trends throughout the world.
