MEMPHIS, TN -- Tile of Spain recently hosted educational events for architects and interior designers with Hnedak Bobo Group (HBG) in Memphis, TN.

Ryan Fasan, Tile of Spain consultant, started off the day with a breakfast presentation about tile trends to a group of interior designers. He later spoke to 28 architects and interior designers about 'Specification 2.0: Understanding Ceramics to Use Their Full Potential,' exploring the four types of tile and production techniques to explain choices to clients and easily select the optimal tile for every job.

In keeping with the Spanish theme, Spanish style lunch was provided. Those that attended the presentations received Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits with the AIA or IIDA.

Tile of Spain connected with HBG through one of last year's Passport to Creativity contest winners, Steve Trott. Trott won a trip to Spain and Cevisama, the International Ceramic Tile and Bath Furnishings Show, by showing his creativity with tile.

Tile of Spain is again seeking four architects and interior designers to participate in this free, CEU architectural excursion from Feb. 9 to 15, 2014. Visit www.tileofspainusa.com/contest for complete rules and to enter to win.
