Silestone by Cosentino announces new transferable warranty

The improved warranty ensures that Silestone surfaces and Integrity sinks are guaranteed for up to 15 years

NEW YORK, NY — Silestone recently announced a new, transferrable, limited 15-year warranty for North American residential applications. The new warranty began February 1, 2013 and covers Silestone surfaces that have been purchased from an authorized Silestone installer or dealer and have been permanently installed in a single-family residence. In addition, the warranty now includes Silestone Integrity sinks.Silestone by Cosentino

The improved warranty ensures that Silestone surfaces and Integrity sinks are guaranteed for up to 15 years from the date of the original installation, regardless of the original owner. This goes beyond typical “lifetime warranties” offered in the market, which are usually non-transferrable and limited to the original owner of the surface. This superior level of coverage provides architects, designers and homeowners with an unprecedented confidence that Silestone surfaces are a lasting investment. In today‘s buyer’s market, owning a countertop with a warranty that can be easily transferred to new homeowners with the sale/purchase of a home provides important added value.

“Silestone’s new limited transferrable 15-year warranty is a testament to the confidence of Silestone‘s performance and gives homeowners a true long-term investment for the kitchen and bath — the two most frequently remodeled room of the home,“ said Lorenzo Marquez, VP of Marketing for Cosentino North America.

The updated Silestone warranty was created in response to a marketplace where manufacturers are continuously challenged to provide long-lasting value to its product lines and develop new standards of performance, durability and quality.

Warranties must be activated within 60 days of installation to be eligible under the new warranty. Those interested in taking advantage of the new warranty can activate their registered warranty or obtain a Transfer of Ownership form by visiting Alternatively, they can call or write to Cosentino North America at the phone number or address below:
