Jackie Balint won first place in Silestone’s Design Contest for incorporating all the needs of her client and creating a stylish design with Silestone products.

After much deliberation, Silestone’s panel of high-profile design experts have selected the three top projects from Certified Kitchen Designers that feature Silestone natural quartz in kitchens that reflect dynamic, yet functional design. Jackie Balint from The Kitchen Collection LLC in Redondo Beach, CA, was awarded first place and will receive an all-expense paid trip to Spain; second place went to Brett Gonsalves from Kitchens & Baths in New Bedford, MA, and third place went to Alice Sin from Sierra Custom Kitchens in Pasadena, CA — both of which will receive an American Express gift card.

In her winning design, Balint specified appliances, cabinetry and countertops based on the individual needs of the client. She selected Silestone in the sleek Nuit Blue hue for the island and contrasted the perimeter countertops with the clean and bright look of Bianco River. “Silestone had the perfect colors as well as a texture that added a special look to the kitchen,” said Balint.
