The National Slate Association (NSA) of Poultney, VT, celebrated the 10th anniversary of its reorganization from September 21 to 23, 2012 in the New York-Vermont Slate Valley. A total of 45 NSA members enjoyed a quarry tour, mill tour, reception at the Slate Valley Museum in Granville, NY, members meeting and a formal banquet with guest speaker Howard Coffin, who addressed the key role played by the Second Vermont Brigade at the battle of Gettysburg during the Civil War.
