"Bordeaux" stone-look porcelain tile

American Olean has introduced its "Bordeaux"collection, the first stone-look porcelain tile line to be offered by the company.

“Team members from divisions throughout American Olean worked together to design a product for our customers’ specific needs,” said Lori Kirk-Rolley, Senior Marketing Director for Dal-Tile Corporation. “This collaboration resulted in a beautiful, versatile, product that offers multiple sizes to create different patterns that meet the needs of our customers.” Available in a rich color palette of Crème, Chameau and Marron, "Bordeaux" provides a natural travertine look and softly chiseled edges for a stylish finish.

The tiles combine for a distinctive, decorative visual that can bring flair to any home. Reveal Imaging technology was used to create "Bordeaux" giving it sophisticated state-of-the-art imaging with unmatched color definition while delivering the performance and durability of a porcelain tile. The collection offers a variety of format options and sizes to produce unique patterns such as the modular pinwheel, among many others. The collection features four modular floor tile sizes (20 x 20, 13 x 20, 13 x 13 and 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches), as well as a 10- x 14-inch and 4- x 8-inch ceramic wall tile.

For additional flexibility in design, the collection offers a universal decorative 2- x 10-inch wall accent and universal 3- x 13-inch floor accent. A 3- x 3-inch pressed and dot mount mosaic is also available in each of the three colors and meets a .60 wet coefficient of friction (COF) and a .42 dynamic coefficient of friction for commercial applications.

Combined with the state-of-the-art Reveal Imaging, the ceramic wall and porcelain floor and mosaic also feature Microban© technology to fight against stain- and odor-causing bacteria. When proper installation methods are followed, "Bordeaux" is ideal for all residential and most commercial applications except pool decks and commercial exterior floors/patios.
