For over 50 years, Stocchero Attilio & C. of Volargne, Verona, Italy, has been processing stone with some of the most advanced equipment in the industry. That philosophy continues today, as the company continues to invest in state-of-the-art equipment to process new and unique stone materials sourced from around the world.

Most recently, Stocchero has added a new slab production line from Breton, which represents the latest generation of technology. The new slab-polishing line is for marble and travertine, and it is able to furnish a range of finishes on the material, including polished, brushed and others. All of the abrasives and brushes on the line are from Tenax.

The line begins with a Levibreton calibrating unit, which features nine polishing heads. From there, it moves to an automated unit to apply resin to the slabs, and the resin products are also from Tenax. Finally, the slabs receive their final surface finish on a Levibreton KFG 4000 with 15 polishing heads.

Among the marbles processed by Stocchero, the company offers some of the classic stones of Italy, such as Rosso Verona and White Carrara.

In addition to the Breton polishing line, there is also a Simec polishing line in place for granite, and it is also equipped with abrasives and brushes from Tenax.

In all, Stocchero produces 3,000 square meters (32,000 square feet) of material per day.

The company maintains a large inventory of marble, travertine, granite and onyx at its large warehouse, and it exports material across Europe and North America.
