Wood’s Powr-Grip’s new Air-Powered Tilter 1500 increases the speed and efficiency of transferring stone slabs between storage or transfer racks and cutting tables, according to the company. It is capable of lifting loads up to 1500 pounds (680 kg). The Air-Powered Tilter 1500 features powered 90-degree tilt between upright and flat positions. Its unique pad frame is sized to handle large stone slabs and optional shutoffs for individual vacuum pads permit attachment to a variety of load sizes or shapes and avoidance of countertop cut outs or material irregularities. Other options include AC or DC power and foam pad rings for attaching to rough or textured surfaces.
