LAS VEGAS, NV -- Surfaces 2012 will feature many first-time exhibitors and new show floor features aimed at providing attendees the newest products and ideas to position them for success in 2012, according to show organizers. Co-locating with StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas, Surfaces 2012 will be held from January 24 to 26 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. Exhibits will be open Tuesday through Thursday, with the educational program beginning Monday, January 23.

"This has been a tremendous selling experience for our account executives," said Amie Gilmore, Surfaces show manager. "Speaking to new companies who haven't been in the show before and sharing with them all the benefits of being in the show is very exciting. The response has been overwhelming and we're extremely pleased with the reception we've received by these new companies."

More than 70 companies are making their exhibiting debut at this year's show -- making up 13,686 square feet of the show floor. In addition to the brand new exhibiting companies, more than 30 companies are emerging from a two-plus year hiatus from the show, including Interceramic, USA.

"We're very excited about all the new and returning companies that are joining us at the show this year," said Gilmore. "As Surfaces continues to bring in these new companies and their new products, our attendees are guaranteed to find the latest products and technologies that they can't find anywhere else."

Surfaces 2012 will also introduce new show floor features in addition to the most popular areas such as the S² Main Stage, Trends Hub, Connections Pavilion and the reintroduction of the New Product Marketplace, formerly known as the New Product Showcase. The new areas added to the show this year include Tool Alley and Artisan Avenue.

Tool Alley will feature exhibiting companies whose primary business are large and small floor covering tools. The area will also host hourly demonstrations where attendees can see these tools in action. Artisan Avenue is an area on the show floor that includes complementary products to include hand-crafted tile, decorative concrete, sinks and window coverings.
