Cosentino opens Australian distribution center

October 3, 2011
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA -- Cosentino Group, a worldwide leader in the production and distribution of quartz surfaces, natural stone and recycled surfaces, has opened its first and only Cosentino Center in Sydney, Australia -- confirming its international growth plans. Cosentino Centers are an innovative concept created by the company for architects, interior designers, kitchen and bath, and natural stone professionals, as well as consumers.

With a total investment of more than $4.1 million, the fully operational Cosentino Center in Sydney includes an exhibition space, warehouse and office for their 10-person team. In addition to housing the showroom and corporate offices, Cosentino Centers serve as a full-service training area for design professionals and stone fabricators.

"With the opening of this new affiliate in the Australian market, we're able to strengthen our worldwide expansion strategy," said Francisco Martínez-Cosentino, President of Cosentino Group. "Establishing our own Centers enables us to be closer to our customers and offer the highest quality service. Australia is a mature market for the quartz industry, and it has a huge growth potential for us. Therefore, quality control of distribution is fundamental, as well as direct and personal support from our team."

Cosentino's entrance into the Australian market marks the 17th affiliate of the Cosentino Group -- confirming the company's plan for expansion and their annual goal for geographical diversification on a global scale. By the end of the year, Cosentino will boast 72 centers in 17different countries.
