GranQuartz announced major improvements in its Web site -- www.granquartz.com -- offering new features for searching and purchasing. The site enhancements build on the upgrades made in May of this year.

One of the key site enhancements is the addition of a digital version of the GranQuartz full stone catalog. Site visitors are able to flip through the pages of the catalog with full item search capabilities. Additionally, visitors can click on items in the catalog and automatically place the items in their GranQuartz shopping cart for purchase.

Other enhancements include the addition of shopping list functionality. This enables customers to create lists of the items they purchase most for easy re-ordering and product recommendations based on previous purchases. The shopping lists can be created from previous orders or created from scratch.

"We are committed to continually improving the online shopping experience, making it easier for our customers to quickly find and purchase the tools they need," said Tom Jones, Director of Internet and Catalog Marketing. "We plan to continually add features to our site that are valued by our customers."

The GranQuartz site also has a redesigned home page. This new design brings the most used functions right to the front of the home page -- making them easier to find and speeding the shopping process.
