NEW YORK, NY — The Board of Directors of Stone Source announced the appointment of Joe MacIsaac, former President of Knoll International, as President and CEO of the company. Stone Source is a leading provider of natural stone, porcelain, ceramic and glass tile as well as reclaimed wood, to architects, designers and contractors.

“After completing an extensive search for our new President and CEO, the Board is pleased to have Joe MacIsaac join us to lead the company,” said Robert Berenson, Interim CEO and a member of the Board of Directors.
As President of Knoll International, MacIsaac led the business to a fivefold revenue increase, opened and structured a Middle East regional office in Dubai, and expanded his company into multiple competitive emerging global markets. In addition to his executive leadership experience, he also has extensive sales experience in the architecture and design industry.

In addition, he served on the jury for the International Architecture Awards in 2008, and in 2009, he served on the jury for The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design Good Design Awards.

“I look forward to expanding Stone Source throughout the U.S. and cultivating the great team we have in place,” said MacIsaac. “We will focus on providing consistent, high-quality service to contractors, architects and designers, while continuing to offer the most innovative new products from around the world.”
