Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and weldingmetabo applications, has introduced the W680 4 ½ angle grinder. This new angle grinder is ideal for cutting, grinding and deburring metal, reports Metabo Corporation.

Featuring a robust 6.2 A motor with 680 watts of power, 14 inch-pounds of torque and a no-load speed of 11,000 rpm, the W680 has a classic Metabo design, and offers high performance.

Weighing just 4.4 pounds, the W680 is ideal for applications that require reaching or overhead work.  Its slim motor housing design and ergonomic side handle make the grinder comfortable and easy to use throughout the day.

The W680 includes a side locking switch, spindle lock, burst-proof wheel guard and auto-stop carbon brushes. It is covered by Metabo’s XXL warranty. This free warranty extends the standard one-year power tool warranty to three years.

The new grinder comes standard with inner flange, face spanner and outer nut. Type 1 cut-off wheel guard, carrying case and a variety of abrasives for the grinder are sold separately.
