Domenico De Palo to showcase new, special and unique textures, the line employs modular bas-reliefs with plays of empty and full spaces, shadows and semi-darkness in order to create four new aesthetics — Geisha, Avata, Spizzo and Verano.
These new designs were showcased at an installation entitled “Il Fuoco, la Pietra, il Cemento, si incontrano” ( Fire, Stone and Cement Meet) at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, Italy. “With these new textures, stone becomes dynamic; it is not a formal abstraction anymore, but a vital reality,” said De Palo.
