Silestone hosted cocktails and a private viewing of Counter Space: Design and the Modern Kitchen at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City on Monday, October 18, 2010. The exhibition takes a fascinating look at architectural modernism from the inside out, through the 20th century transformation of the kitchen.


NEW YORK, NY -- Silestone, a leader in quartz surfacing, hosted cocktails and a private viewing ofCounter Space: Design and the Modern Kitchenat The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City on Monday, October 18, 2010. This exclusive reception was attended by over 200 interior designers, architects, kitchen designers, fabricators and other leaders in design. The event was hosted by Eduardo Cosentino, Director of Sales for the Cosentino Group, with Juliet Kinchin, Curator, Department of Architecture and Design at MoMA, and Maggie Cohen, President of ASID New York Metro. TheCounter Spaceexhibition takes a fascinating look at architectural modernism from the inside out, through the 20th century transformation of the kitchen.

Guests enjoyed a private viewing of the exhibition after museum hours with cocktails and canapés by Daniel Boulud. Roberto Contreras, Chief Executive Officer of Cosentino North America gave welcome remarks and underscored the importance of Silestone's partnership with MoMA.
