MORRIS, IL - The Stone Fabricators Alliance (SFA) recently finished up its third straight year of continuing education workshops. The workshop was hosted by Dan Riccolo of Morris Granite Co. in Morris, IL. The workshop seminars included round table discussions with topics such as importing containers, marketing and sales presentations, commercial contracts, growing in a down economy, CNC production and hands-on fabrication tips and tricks.

Sponsors of the workshop brought with them new tooling, adhesives and products that are currently on the market or coming soon to the marketplace for the fabricators to put their hands on, experiment with and give them real-time feedback.

There were over 80 people in attendance from the U.S. and Canada, as well as many sponsors of SFA’s organization. The sponsors brought with them new tooling, adhesives and products that are currently on the market or coming soon to the marketplace for the fabricators to put their hands on, experiment with and give them real-time feedback. Sponsors included Braxton Bragg, Breton, Cosentino, Diamant Boart, Direct Tech Tooling, Glaston Bavelloni, GMM/Salem Distribution, Granite City Tool, GranQuartz, Integra Adhesives, IPT Sink Company, Laser Products, Northwood, Prodim (Proliner) and SuperAbrasive.
