At its highest capacity, the Oswego facility provides over 1,000 slabs and more than 100 colors of stone products to meet the growing demand for natural stone.

“To better serve our customers in Chicago’s western suburbs, we felt it was absolutely necessary to build here in Oswego, IL,” said Rakesh Malhotra, UGM’s chief operating officer. “The new facility will offer optimal choices in natural stones at a convenient location for our customers.”

UGM imports a vast array of natural stones from India, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Columbia, Egypt, Israel, Portugal, China, France, Norway, Canada, Turkey and Peru.
