Keynote speakers at K/BIS
O'Reilly, host of cable television's news program, "The O'Reilly Factor," will speak on the topic of politics and current events, and how they relate to investing in the home and the environment.
Motivational speaker Tony Christiansen will be the keynote speaker on April 12 at 1:30 p.m., with a presentation on motivating yourself and others around you. He will use a painter's trestle as his speaking platform.
Another significant event is the NKBA Board of Directors' Gala on Thursday, April 10 from 6 to 11 p.m. Hosted by NKBA Board of Directors and sponsored by Kraftmaid, the Gala honors the "Finest Professionals in the Kitchen and Bath Industry" and thanks volunteer leaders, members and friends for their continued dedication to the Association and the industry. The gala also recognizes the 2003 Design Competition Award winners, whose projects represent the best that NKBA members have to offer.
In addition to the conference, new design ideas, trends, products and accessories from more than 700 manufacturers in 80 different kitchen and bath categories and services will be seen on the show floor, which will encompass 400,000 square feet and include nearly 4,000 exhibit booths.
