Marble 2004, the 10th International Natural Stone and Technologies Fair, is being held from April 1 to 4 in Izmir, Turkey. An assortment of Turkish marble, especially travertine and other natural stones, will be on display at the fair, setting forth the great potential of Turkish natural stones, according to show organizers. Along with raw material, quarry and plant equipment, and installation and maintenance products will also be main highlights at Marble.

Last year, 653 companies from 29 countries exhibited at Marble 2003, and the show attracted more than 11,000 visitors from 50 countries, reports organizers. Marble 2004, which is expected to host 1,000 exhibiting worldwide producers, quarry owners, contractors, architects and more than 20,000 visiting professionals from all around the world, will also offer a number of seminars focusing on issues facing the natural stone industry today.
