Tab India has introduced a new finish for granite tiles called River Wash. Described as a brushed face of granite stone that maintains its true shade and color, River Wash also provides a slip-resistant surface. Unlike flamed or honed surfaces where thickness is varied or color is muted, this new look allows for a consistent surface on tiles, ensuring the thickness will be maintained just as in polished tiles, the company reports. The finish is available in all 55 colors of granite offered from Tab India¿s North and South Indian quarries. It will be available in the U.S. from Amsum & Ash, Inc., which will stock an inventory of ready-to-ship standard sizes such as 12- x 12-, 16- x 16- and 18- x 18-inch tiles.
