Custom Building Products announced the addition of new products in eight categories of tools to its SuperiorBiltTM Tools line to address the need for tools that accommodate stone and ceramic tile 16 inches and larger. The new SuperiorBilt products are designed primarily for large format tile to save labor and increase efficiency.

The expanded product offering includes ProBiltSeries tile cutters, two new SuperiorBilt saws, a family of 16-inch notch trowels, a new 12-inch ProBiltSeries grout float as well as a new dry grinder and wet stone polisher. Each of the new tile cutters features a titanium-coated carbide scoring wheel, a high-performance sealed bearing block for smooth scoring and a zero to 90 degree adjustable protractor rip guide. The new ProBiltSeries of tile cutters are offered in 17-, 20-, 25- and 28-inch sizes. The SuperiorBilt Tools line now also includes an improved and upgraded 10-inch tile saw with a redesigned, front-positioned water distribution system that applies water to the blade evenly and cleanly, and a convenient new 4 1/2-inch tabletop saw ideal for small jobs. Premium SuperiorBilt diamond blades are standard on both products. The new family of 16-inch ProBiltSeries notch trowels is manufactured from stainless spring steel for the highest level of rust-free performance and durability. Available with a selection of five different notch sizes, these notch trowels are designed specifically for the installation of large-format tile. The addition of a large 12-inch grout float to the ProBiltSeries line saves labor through the final stages of large-format tile installations. Constructed of polyproxylene, a no-mar, no-scratch material that is molded directly to the handle, its design and construction eliminate float face separation. The improved 800-watt portable dry grinder features a 4-inch single row diamond cup wheel that can also be used for cutting with a 4-inch dry cute diamond blade while the new wet polisher has directional flow for clean effective polishing, and includes every attachment necessary for polishing stone finishes to perfection.
