GEORGIA MARBLE COMPANY TO AUCTION EQUIPMENT

The Georgia Marble Co. will be auctioning off equipment at its Tate, GA, headquarters in an effort to dispose of excess equipment in the company's ongoing operations. The auction, run by Auctions Worldwide of Milford, CT, will feature 500 to 600 lots of equipment for the stone industry. Items available include equipment for quarrying, milling, sawing, polishing, drilling and stone fabrication.

The auction will take place Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the company's headquarters at 200 Georgia Marble Lane in Tate. For more information, contact Auctions Worldwide at 800-582-5792.

Georgia Marble Co. was recently purchased by Polycor, a Canada-based firm with headquarters in Quebec City - currently the second largest and one of the most diversified suppliers of structural dimension stone in all of North America.
