Projecting elegance with French limestone

This residence in Southern California combines St-Remy Clair and Roche de Charmot, quarried and fabricated by Rocamat.

A total of 20 square meters of St-Remy Clair limestone was used for the main building, with another 36 square meters of Roche de Charmot limestone for the landscape elements.
To enhance the refined quality of a private residence in Newport, CA, the homeowners selected a broad range of elements. These included ornate detailing for the entry gates, a complex roof design and the use of French limestone in a broad range of applications.

The residence utilizes St-Remy Clair limestone for the bulk of the facade. A total of 20 square meters of stone were quarried and fabricated by Rocamat sni of L¿lle-Saint-Denis, France, for this portion of the project. Limestone features on the home include standard panels as well as cubic elements for archways, columns, balconies and stairs.

A feature area of the residence is its extensive outdoor landscaping. For this space, the design called for 36 square meters of Roche de Charmot limestone, also quarried and fabricated by Rocamat. Landscaping features include planters as well as custom-cut paving, which is thoughtfully combined with natural grass.

The general contractor for the project was Mark A. Falcone of Laguna Beach, CA, and the stone executive was Monarch Stone International of San Clemente, CA.
