As the World Wide Web expands, so does access to quarries of natural building and landscaping stone. Champlain Stone, Ltd. of Warrensburg, NY, has launched its Web site, www.champlainstone.com. The company's president, Michael B. Morey, said, "The goal of the site is to provide information about our products and services. And, of equal importance, we want the site to serve as an educational resource on stone for our varied customer base." The site is a resource for architects, builders, dealers, masons, home-owners and others. In addition to product descriptions and specifications, the site also contains thirteen "slide shows" with more than 100 photos of stone. Also, an "Easy Home Projects" section includes step-by-step instructions on how to build a stone wall, walkway or patio and a glossary of stone terms.
