The New York edition of the International Tile & Stone Show (ITSS) will take place from July 21 to 24 at the Jacob Javits Center in midtown Manhattan. New show hours of 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. have been set for the four-day show to bolster attendance and make it easier for visitors to attend the event.

Show organizers report that exhibitors will include hundreds of companies from the U.S. and around the world. For stone fabricators, ITSS will include suppliers of large-scale stoneworking machinery as well as hand tools and accessories. Stoneworking equipment will be in operation on the show floor so attendees can gain hands-on experience when making their investments. On the material side, exhibitors will include producers of natural stone in tile and slab format as well as quartz surfacing and ceramic tile.

The International Tile & Stone Show has received endorsements from machinery suppliers in the U.S. and abroad. The North American Stone Machinery Association (NASMA) and the Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machines for Marble and Stones (ACIMM) have both endorsed the event. Additionally, Expo Magazine named ITSS “2005 Best New Show” winner.

In addition to the exhibit, ITSS debuted its seminar program this past March in Miami, and this will continue in New York. Industry veteran Fred Hueston of the National Training Center for Stone and Masonry Trades has structured a comprehensive series of seminars on important stone-related subjects deemed most interesting to attendees, and will bring together industry leaders as speakers. All educational seminars at ITSS events are underwritten by the show's producers and are free of charge to attendee participants. Designated NTC sessions will be certified for continuing education credits for members of ASID and AIA.
