Brachot-Hermant has developed a new finish for granite tiles and slabs called Anciento[r]. The surface of the granite is made rough and then the pores are filled, finally smoothened with diamond brushes. While maintaining a soft feel, it has an irregular finish that looks great in every natural stone application -- including garden paths, swimming pools, kitchen tops, interior floors and cladding.

The company describes its new product as "a natural stone with beautiful decorative characteristics and a wide range of interior and exterior application possibilities," and asserts that it can be used in both rustic and modern homes. Durable and maintenance friendly, the Anciento[r] procedure is used by Brachot-Hermant on all kinds of granites and other calibrated natural stone.
