“The Art of Stone.” Collection of beautiful installation photographs and close-up product images showcases the relationship between the aesthetic and practical uses of natural stone.

Comprehensive sections feature the finest of Arizona Tile/Santa Fe Collection's granite limestone, travertine, slate and onyx slabs and tile. Another section entitled “Rustics” displays a remarkable inventory of tumbled stone, along with mesh-mounted mosaics in innovative patterns and sizes. Closing the book is the “Designer” section where inspiring ideas will be born, with pages of listellos, decos, ogees, liners and medallions, according to the company.

Each category of natural stone is introduced as an artistic concept. For example, the movement in travertine tile “sheet music” accompanies a classical guitar vignette displaying a striking Imperial Gold entry floor.

“The Art of Stone” is a beautiful coffee-table inspired book, yet has all the practical information needed by the industry,” said Bob Traxler, President of Arizona Tile and Santa Fe Collection. “We were sure to include all the sizes of our products, so our customers will know if a product is available in either slabs and tiles or both. A slab legend also calls out the thicknesses and special characteristics of the stone, so it is a very user-friendly reference for architects, specifiers and working designers.”

Catalogs will be available through Arizona Tile/Santa Fe Collection representatives, and can also be purchased at any of the 16 Arizona Tile/Santa Fe Collection showrooms.
