Sarah Papazian

BETHANY, CT -- When Bob Papazian, manager of Bedrosians, a large, multi-branch distributor of Laticrete products in the U.S., found out that his nine-year-old daughter Sarah had an aggressive form of leukemia, the Papazian family got involved in their local chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. They worked hard to get in shape for fundraisers such as the Team in Training program and also wrote fundraising letters to friends, family and business associates. Upon receiving the letter, Laticrete International immediately wanted to help. The company pledged its support to the family as Bob's wife Sandy Papazian prepared for a 26.2-mile marathon and Bob trained for a 100-mile bike ride. "We could never have come this far without all of the incredible support from friends, family and Laticrete," said Bob Papazian. "We can't thank them enough." Sarah Papazian is now in remission -- a reminder that leukemia is a deadly disease, but it can be overcome.
