Many high-quality fabricators are taking measures
to educate customers and help their operation
stand out among the competiton.

For about two years now, some of the more optimistic fabricators out there have expressed hope that this deep recession will be some sort of "cleansing" of the granite industry. The feeling is that there are certain individuals/companies who only started cutting granite to make a fast buck -- with zero regard for quality or customer service -- and this business formula cannot possibly work in a down economy when jobs are scarce, so the "hacks" will be out of the picture.  Click here to read more.

Located near the shores of the Chesapeake Bay in Easton, MD, SolidTops has seen a steady evolution over the past decade, and it has developed into an exemplary stoneworking facility that is among the first MIA-accredited fabricators in the nation.
