The FusionTM 4000 CNC Saw/Waterjet

The FusionTM 4000 CNC saw/waterjet from Park Industries is designed and manufactured with a smaller footprint. The revolutionary design allows table access from the front or the sides. The Fusion has been engineered for faster cuts while lowering production costs and labor requirements with greater uptime. One sawing head does double duty; the saw makes fast, straight cuts, while the waterjet cuts complex curves with precision. The diamond blade cuts up to 180 inches per minute. The waterjet cuts up to 17 inches per minute.

The easy touch-screen interface for the Siemens 840Di CNC control unit makes the Fusion 4000 simple to operate, according to Park Industries. The user simply has to position the material, scan a bar code, and then the machine begins fabricating.

The Fusion 4000 includes Park’s exclusive HyperDrive System — featuring dual, digitally synchronized servo motors that drive precision ground helical gears across a hardened rack-and-pinion system. In addition, the “Nested Base Stone Fabrication” utilizes the common line cutting strategy and intends to greatly reduce fabrication time and increase stone yield by nearly 10%. Also, the KerfPath Cutting Cycle blends the cuts between the saw and waterjet for significant labor, machine and consumable savings during downstream production.

A dual tank option is also available. The Fusion 4200 has the same power and features of the Fusion 4000. The second table allows fabricators to load the stone for maximum machine productivity.
